Kickboxing Ontario is committed to the development of amateur kickboxing in Ontario. We are a membership-based organization that encourages all individuals and groups to join, regardless of other affiliations.
Kickboxing Ontario provides essential programs and services for members, as well as providing national leadership to amateur kickboxing, fitness kickboxing, and the martial arts industry.
The development of Kickboxing Ontario has taken well over 10 years and has involved many leaders in the industry. The organization continues to develop new and exciting programs and services to members.
With this positive growth, the future looks exciting for kickboxing in Ontario!
Background:
Kickboxing Ontario is affiliated with and a member of the Council of Amateur Sport Kickboxing (CASK) and represents the member group overlooking the sport in the Province of Ontario.
ELECTIONS
Terms for three directors’ positions are ending this year. The following are being nominated for election to these posts:
- President - Amer Mustafa - re-election to a 2nd term
- Vice President - Stephen Nash - re-election to a 2nd term
- Director of Marketing - Bart Molenda - re-election to a 2nd term
Nominations are welcome for any of these three positions. Only Kickboxing Ontario members in good standing may be nominated. Nominations must be sent by email to stephennash@sympatico.ca.
The deadline for submitting nominations is April 11, 2008 by 5 pm.
AMENDMENTS TO OBJECTS & BY-LAWS
Section 5.03 - The financial review engagement of the Corporation shall be posted on the website within sixty days of the end of the fiscal year. Addition of new section 2.06 - Binding the Corporation - Signatures of 2 board members are required to legally bind the corporation. One of the 2 signatories must be the President.

Thai boxing rules have now been accepted into Kickboxing Ontario and CASK’s Rules and Regulations for competitions. The official Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) Recognition Letter is available here.
